Off piste Skitouring in Narvik

From the top of the ski resort in Narvik you can put on your skins, hike for half an hour and have the best off-piste skiing in Scandinavia. In fact the terrain accessible from the resort is so good it is by visitors often referd to as the arctic region's La Grave.

Finding the best and safest snow on the current day usually starts with 15 to 50 minuttes in a car. Carefully monitoring weather and snow conditions the days beforehand, the guide will choose between the more costal climate to the west, the scenic fjord tours in the south or to go into the colder-drier areas of the north and east. 

This variety of tours, terrain and conditions is what makes skitouring in Narvik so unique. Every day and tour is so different!

 

Depending on your skill level and experience we can do longer and shorter tours. Steep and demanding, or gentle and comfortable.
